Mountain Bike Hire
- Depending on your circumstances you may wish to bring your own mountain bike to ride at Derby. However, if you don’t own a mountain bike or want the hassle of transporting your own bike we can help get you on the best mountain bike for the Derby trails.
What type of mountain bikes are available?
We work with a number of bike shops in Derby and have access to a range of dual suspension mountain bikes and e-bikes to suit any level of rider.
We have access to a mixed fleet of Trek Slash and GT Force Comp Carbon and Comp Alloy dual suspension mountain bikes, 27.5 and 29 wheel sizes, which are gravity oriented bikes which can do it all whislt still creating a great pedaling platform to get shredding across the whole Derby network. For the younger riders we have Norco Slight and Fluid or GT Stomper mountain bikes. Proper youth-focussed bikes for young riders looking to unlock some extended play out on the trails.
Can I hire an e-bike in Derby?
E-bikes are available for you to hire. We have access to a range of e-bike brands but most commonly Trek Rail & Fuel or Transition Relay. Talk to us about booking e-bikes when planning your next trip.
If you prefer to bring your own e-bike, we can help with freight logistics of your e-battery.
How do I book a mountain bike?
Contact us when planning your trip to make any enquiries about hiring mountain bikes. When you book your shuttles with us we are able to organise a mountain bike for you with a great rate through the shops we are partnered with.
When can I pick up my mountain bike?
On the first morning of your trip you will need to pick up the bikes from the shop who you have hired the bikes through. Their experienced bike techs will setup your new steed tailored to your exact bike fit and suspension before you meet us to set off for the trails.
